In my understanding, wuwei (non-action, non-intent), is the only course that a person can take. The reason for this is that we cannot grasp the fundamental source of matter or the cosmos. Nor can we grasp its limits. Hence, a person can only fundamentally act based on intuitive or inherent understandings. The more superficial and rudimentary understandings will all come from these and be dictated by them. Hence, it is important to try to have our fundamental understandings be as closely aligned as possible to the ultimate truth of the cosmos. In my understanding, this is Zhen-Shan-Ren (Truth-Compassion-Forbearance).
It is up to the individual him or herself to grasp how to do this. These principles are the basis of the practice Falun Gong, or, Falun Dafa.
